Moving my family and business
Earlier this year my husband and I decided, after 10 enjoyable years, to up sticks from our old home in Acton near Sudbury, and move 12 miles down the road to our present home in Hadleigh Suffolk.
But that is all behind us now, all moved in and loving it!
From our families point of view it offers plenty of room inside and out and is situated in a beautiful, peaceful, country location surrounded by paddocks, which is exactly what we wanted for our three boys. I believe three things that children want is love, attention and space, space to express themselves and burn off their excessive amounts of energy. So that’s at least one part that has been sorted by the move. From a business point of view it has also been a huge success. Offering plenty of space for all the bridal party to park easily, and being able to work with the bride and her party in a relaxed and spacious environment, even spilling out onto the patio and garden when the weather permits. It is a particular treat from around May when we can look straight out onto the young foals prancing around in the adjoining fields. So was it worth all the hassle? Yes, absolutely! So I now look forward to welcoming you to my home for your wedding trials. It’s one more thing I can now offer, to help make your pre-wedding build up as pleasurable, relaxing and as beautiful an experience as possible. See you here soon. Karen xxx [email protected]

I would like to thank all the soon-to-be beautiful brides who came along to the wedding fayre on such a scorching hot day. It was lovely meeting you all and I hope we will meet up again soon!
When I was able to grab a spare minute I also enjoyed chatting to some of my fellow exhibitors at this wonderful wedding venue. It is great to be able to have time to chat to some who I have worked with before. I will be exhibiting here again next year, so for dates and more information look near the bottom of my home page.
I had a really great time collaborating with a wonderful team of talented local wedding suppliers, creating this fabulous short video, and the stunning photographs. We all enjoyed the experience and were delighted with the final results.
The two models, Hayley and Sarah, from the Sudbury and Braintree areas, were easy to work with, enjoyed the experience and looked absolutely beautiful. I regularly enjoy working with Emma, the make up artist, who as usual was fun to be around and created a great look on both models. The video by Steve and photographs by both Nicky & Cristina speak for themselves, capturing exactly the look and feel we had hoped for. I look forward to getting the opportunity to work with these talented artists again in the near future on either a photoshoot or at a wedding. If you like the look of the two models hairstyles I created or any of my other beautiful brides hairstyles and need a wedding hair specialist, please get in touch and let me help to make you look and feel beautiful! Videography by Steve Hood of Steve Hood Films. Photography by Nicky West & Cristina Ranson of Ranson & West Photography Make-up by Emma Quin of Pretty Faces Make-up. Hair styling by myself, Karen Lowe of Karen's Beautiful Brides. The beautiful models were Sarah McKinlay & Hayley Eagles I exhibited at the 'Ipswich Luxury Wedding Show' on Sunday the 4th of October. It was extremely busy and the wedding fayre was a great success.
It was the first fayre that 'Diva Wedding Fayres' have put on in this area and was a 'must see' for all you brides to be. I'm looking forward to exhibiting at the next show! Ipswich Town Hall and Corn Exchange, King Street, Ipswich, IP1 1DH Prior to the fayre, I was involved in the photoshoot to promote this event. Below are some wonderful photos from a very enjoyable day at the photoshoot. I am delighted to have exhibited again at, a very local venue to me, The Bull Hotel, Long Melford in Suffolk.
They have a dynamic new team organising the fayre, and the results of their efforts really paid off. Amongst many other things, they generously offered an wedding package absolutely free to one lucky visitor. A big thank you to all the brides to be, and a couple of past brides, who came and spoke with me. I look forward to seeing you again soon! It was great to be able to read my article about Bridal hairstyles in such a popular wedding magazine. I had been invited to write a short piece for 'Bride' magazine, and I hope it gives one of you brides-to-be some ideas for what you may be looking for.
The magazine "BRIDE" covers the Norfolk & Suffolk area. On Sunday the 26th April, I exhibited at the Copdock Hall wedding fayre, a wonderful new wedding venue near Ipswich in Suffolk. It was the wedding venues grand launch and was extremely busy and a great success. Huge credit goes to Ian and Diane Evans, and also to their young family, who have put in an enormous amount of time and effort in restoring the barn and creating this beautiful wedding venue.
The fayre was organised by Sharon Donaldson of "The wedding Fayre", who always puts on great wedding fayres. Also a big thank you to the soon-to-be brides, their guests and all the other wedding suppliers who helped make it such an enjoyable day. I can only imagine this being a hugely successful wedding venue and look forward to their next wedding fayre.
It was a wonderful day at Hedingham Castle in Essex, I created the hairstyle for a stunning model on a promotional wedding video shoot for David Michael Photography.
The video was created by tsj films and the make-up artist was Emma of Pretty Faces. |
